National Women In Ag. Association ("NWIAA") is a new generation, faith based, non-profit organization utilizing innovative agriculture outreach education and community development.
As one of the very few men there I had the very distinct honor and was privileged to be in attendance at the Saturday morning meeting. The Michigan Chapter got things kicked off right as Tammy Gray-Steel and her Executive Assistant were in attendance. They are welcome to come back for the 5th Annual National Black Farmers and Urban Growers Conference in Detroit set for October 17th-19th (Google us at Black Farmers and Urban Growers).
WELCOME to Detroit as urban agriculture has been called "ground zero for urban agriculture" by Dr. Monica White, Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
